비동맹운동회원국들 북한지지 줄어

2011년 11월 22일, VOA - 유엔 북한인권결의안 표결 결과, 제 3세계 나라들 중 북한을 지지하는 국가들이 줄어든 것으로 나타났다. 찬성 112, 반대 16, 기권 55 개국으로 통과돼는데, 지난 해보다 찬성은 6개 나라가 늘어난 반면 반대는 네 나라가 줄었다. ICNK의 카나이 도이 휴먼라이츠워치 일본 사무소장은 북한반인도범죄 조사위원회의 설립이 이루어져 북한정권에 제대로 대응해아한다고 강조한다.
오길남 박사, 북인권특별보고관 다루스만과 면담

2011년 11월 22일, 동아일보, 아주경제 11월 13일부터 시작한 일주일간의 미국 일정을 마친 오길남 박사와 ICNK 대표단은 21일 (월) 방한 중인 유엔 북한인권특별보고관 마르주키 다루스만과 비공개 면담을 가졌다. 이 면담을 통해 다루스만 보고관은 오길남 박사의 북한 내 구금의 전말에 대해 질의응답 시간을 가졌다. 이후 가진 ICNK 해외활동 경과 보고 기자회견을 통해, 유엔 및 미국 국무부가 "통영의 딸" 신숙자 씨 모녀 구출에 모든 가능한 기회를 활용할 것이라는 약속을 공개했다.
ICNK 대표단, 오길남 박사와 방미

2011년 11월 14일, 조선일보 오길남 박사를 대동한 ICNK대표단이 11월 13일부터 일주일간의 일정으로 워싱턴DC와 뉴욕을 방문한다. DC에서는 미국의회 및 미 국무부와 간담회를 가질 예정이며, 뉴욕에서는 유엔 OHCHR 당국자와 미팅을 가질 예정이다. 이번 미국활동을 통해 ICNK는 미국 정부 및 유엔에 신숙자 모녀의 송환을 촉구할 예정이다.
