On April 13th, Japanese memebrs of the ICNK network recently held an event at the Diet building in Tokyo to discuss North Korean human rights, and the ICNK's mission to establish a Commission of Inquiry in the United Nations. Despite an urgent meeting of parlimentarians to deal with the North Korean missle launch, 10 members of the Diet were able to attend the event. Family members of abduction victims spoke of their ordeal ICNK member Yohei Suda explained how a UN Commission of Inquiry could help solve these issues.
