[EAI Online Seminar] North Korea in a New Era of U.S.-South Korea Partnership
The East Asia Institute (President Yul Sohn) invites you to the 10th online seminar of the COVID-19 and the New World Order series, titled North Korea in a New Era of U.S.-South Korea Partnership, co-hosted with the Center for East Asia Policy Studies at Brookings Institution. The May 2021 U.S.-ROK joint statement addressed expanding U.S. alliance relationships with Japan and South Korea to address regional security. During this seminar, experts from the U.S. and South Korea will discuss the North Korea variable in U.S.-ROK cooperation, the U.S.-China strategic competition and its impact on the Korean Peninsula, and the role of the future U.S-ROK alliance.
