NK ranked the worst in Freedom of Press

North Korea has been ranked the worst in freedom of press among 199 countries.
Freedom House, which is a NGO advocating democracy, human rights, and especially freedom of press, recently published the Freedom of the Press 2015 country rankings. Each country and territory received a score from 0 (the most free) to 100 (the least free). North Korea received point 97, ranking the worst in 199 countries. Freedom House said that, in 10 worst repressors of freedom of press, independent media are either nonexistent or barely able to operate, the press acts as a mouthpiece for the regime, citizens access to unbiased information is severely limited, and dissent is crushed through imprisonment, torture, and other forms of repression. Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Eritrea, and Crimea were ranked as the second and the third worst repressors.
