Recently, a group of 20 North Koreans escaped from North Korea through the Aprok River. Repercussions due to this are expected.

On the 7th, 20 North Koreans in Hyesan escaped from North Korea, and it seems they planned this carefullly ahead of time. Since before Kim Jong Un gained power over regime, he was hostile to defection, smuggling, using Chinese cell phones, etc. From last year, he ordered that any person who tried to cross the border should be shot on the spot.

However, despite these circumstances, the North Koreans escaped the country because of the extreme economic difficulties and food shortages.
