Glyn Davies, a Special Representative for North Korea Policy of the U.S. Department of State, emphasized on the 7th the importance of the inflow of information to North Korea through radio broadcasts to the country.
He said many North Korean people are hungry for information. He stated that the U.S needs to actively encourage the flow of information. He also said, We do need to look at entrepreneurial ways to promote more of that and get more information in. I think broadcasting is a big part of that.
He also emphasized that the international community should not forget about the nature of the North Korean regime and their human rights abuses.
