According to Radio Free Asia, Save the Childrens 2-year food and medical aid project in North Hamgyeong Province ends this month.
Since 2011, Save the Children supported many different projects in North Hamgyeong Province: improvement of drinking water, constructing sewer lines, and medical and food aid. They also provided food to North Korean victims of the typhoon and flooding last summer.
Save the Children will send an investigation team to North Korea this coming May and will evaluate their work over the last two years in the country.
