Radio Free Asia has reported that food distribution in Pyongyang is worse than in other regions.

According to a source in China, who visited North Korea recently, the North Korean regime distributed 500g of food to Pyongyang citizens last month. Another source reported that 7kg of food has been distributed to citizens in Yangkang Province and North Hamkyoung Province every 15 days since March because the authorities were using the food supply stored in the No. 2 Storage facility.

However, the sources expect that if the food in the No. 2 Storage facility runs out, the country will suffer from food shortage again.
