Restaurants in Pyongyang and foreign currency earning agencies have recently started recruiting young and pretty women to earn foreign currency.

 

According to Radio Free Asia, famous restaurants in Pyongyang or foreigners’ hotels in other regions are hiring beautiful women, regardless of their background or past. This has brought criticism from North Korean citizens. Also, foreign currency earning companies are hiring young and pretty girls before they graduate high school. Because of this, an increasing number of high school girls are getting plastic surgery.
