Radio Free Asia reported that imitation products are recently increasing in North Korea as individual manual industry is developing.

According to Radio Free Asia, imitations of brand clothes are flooding the black market. Especially, the source added, an imitation of green Chanel blouse, which Lee Sul-joo wore, is selling at 250 Chinese yuan or 40 American dollars. The source delivered that North Korean tailors imitate clothes elaborately by just seeing them once so these imitations are even selling in department stores in Pyongyang. Also, these tailors are imitating brand clothes such as Burberry and Chanel so they bring and put trademark of brand on their imitation and sell them as genuine. They also imitate clothes and shoes, which appeared in South Korean drama, and sell them.
