The UN Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) decided to provide $920,000 in aid to North Korea, Voice of America reported.

 

The UN Resident Coordinator in North Korea reported on the 23rd of last month that North Korea is in serious need of essential medicine and this can lead to the spread of the plague. Thus, this fund will be used to provide medicine and drinking water to flood victims in North Korea.
