Radio Free Asia reported that the North Korean authorities currently worry about food distribution after this year’s harvest.

 

North Korea’s harvest this year is better than last year, but the authorities are debating on whether they should distribute food to citizens or distribute it to farmers. Radio Free Asia’s source reported that the central party usually decides and enforces distribution, however, for the first time that they are holding a meeting to ask the opinions of t the regional agriculture executives. Also, the source added that the executives have different opinions on this matter.
