Sunday, May 13th 2012, KontraS organized an exhibition of the documentation of human rights violations in North Korea along with a press conference to respond to the visit of the second highest leader in North Korea, Kim Yong-nam, to Indonesia on the same day.

The exhibition and press conference were held by KontraS because they perceived the meeting between Kim and the Indonesian leaders to be very problematic. They believed the agenda of the meetings did not adequately touch on the most fundamental problem for humanity that is the massive series of human rights violations towards the people of North Korea.

The event was also attended by UN Special Rapporteur for North Korea, Mr. Marzuki Darusman, as well as ICNK representative Ben Rogers.
