On the 24th, Unification Media Groups Daily NK held a seminar titled The Prospect of Kim Jong-uns Regime After Hyeon Yong-chols Execution in Tokyo, Japan. In the seminar, one of NKnets researchers, Kim Young-hwan, shared North Koreas surveillance system has progressed to a high degree to the point that there are tens of millions of CCTV cameras in the country.

He also stated that It will be difficult to go against North Korea considering North Koreas diverse, cutting-edge surveillance equipment that has been advanced to the point that it is 10 times better than any other countrys surveillance network.

Though The probability of North Korea welcoming a sudden change is unlikely for the time being, 10 years ago if the possibility of a sudden change of regime in the next five year was 20%, then one would view the possibility to be about 30% higher now and when one considers the next ten or fifteen year period, there is a much greater probability that a great change with the regime will take place.
