Freedom of Speech Banned for Foreigners in NK

All media criticizing either Kim Jong Un or the regime has been banned for diplomats residing in Pyongyang.

North Korea media has been monitored for a long time yet now the North Korean government is banning all media that is anti-government for foreign diplomats and international organization workers.

Of course movies like The Interview that came out last year are now banned, as well as pictures or literature that has content that goes against the regime are prohibited. Prohibited media includes any device for which one could access any kind of media, including papers, phones, computers or other storing device.

The department of foreign affairs referred to the new media ban in their 2015 latter half of the year report. The report shared that North Korea is violated the international human rights standards with this new measure and that North Korea is continually monitoring human rights and the work of international work.
