1,700 North Korean Workers in Mongolia

South Korean newspaper Yonhap News reported that there are over 1,700 North Korean workers in Mongolia. This number reflects the growing economic ties between the two countries. Mongolia has also expressed interest in renting a North Korean port and has a 20% stake in the North Korean Oil refinery known as Sungri.
