Life Expectancy in North Korea Falls

Average life expectancy has gradually fallen in North Korea according to the latest data released by the United Nations Population Fund.
In the 1980s, the combined average life expectancy for men and women stood at 74 years. The recent data released by the UNPFA has shown that the combined average from last year has fallen to 69 years.
Men in the country on average live 65.9 years; the female average is 72.1. These latest figures place North Korea at 117th place for life expectancy from the countries recently analyzed by the UNFPA.
