South Korean government official said on Tuesday that analog
broadcasting will continue so that North Koreans can continue to
watch South Korean TV.
South is currently in the process of changing to digital
broadcasting. The North has not followed suit. The decision to
continue broadcasting analog signals was made during a meeting
between related agencies.
